Day 25: On the phone with my mother before leaving the house for Dave and Penny's. I forgot to change the white balance back, so it's really blue . . . but that's about on par with the news I was getting from my mom. Looking forward to a night out with the future Boasian Society.
Day 29: This morning before class. Thinking about my grandmother a lot which has been distracting. The picture in the background is of her and my grandfather. Strange that everything else just goes on as normal.
Day 41: Back from an awesome evening with Penny in the East Bay. On the phone with Mom getting the latest on my family drama. I'm actually pretty happy and don't know why I came off looking so worn out.
Day 14: I was trying to shoot myself with my living room in the background to represent the massive house cleaning I did today. I cleaned everything from one end of the place to the other and fixed several outstanding issues, including my broken bed frame. I feel pretty great about it all.
Day 18: Rain. Rain. Rain. More Rain. That was today. I worked and listened to the rain beat down on the barracks roof. I had to detour on my way home due to flooding. It was so bad Jenn couldn't even get to my house tonight because of freeway closures. This is me trying to show the rain and failing miserably because it's just too dark out there. But I like the way it came out anyway.
Day 26: Taken just before racing out the door in (of course, isn't it a given now?) the rain to head for Oakland. Crazy rainy drive, but a warm and welcoming Cato's awaited me at the end, including a Jenn and a Beccah
Day 15: Freezing cold. This is me hurrying outside after work attempting to photograph the snow on the mountains north of Santa Rosa before dark. I was not successful because of poorly placed homes and trees, but I got some good shots of my local sheep before I had to give up or risk frost bite. Grainy because I forgot to reset the ISO . . .doh!
Day 35: So tired I almost forgot to take a portrait. I stayed home today waiting for the delivery of my theory book which never came. So instead I read and knit. Finished the socks. I am pleased with them and going to start a new pair tonight.
Day 49: Another rough one. Car is officially dead. Avoided work all day by backing the computer up and other random things. I may have been adopted by a cat, possibly the world's fucked up way of trying to balance the karma.
